Hello
With over 20 years of experience in the film and fashion industry, I had the pleasure of working with renowned photographers such as Mark Seliger and Patrick Demarchelier as well as directors like Hans Canosa and Sarah Kelly, in cities across the United States. After graduating from FIT in 2000, I began my career as a stylist and eventually transitioned into film work in 2002. I am excited to bring my expertise and passion for fashion to your project.
My Story
When I was 10 years old, I knew what I wanted to do when I grew up by watching shows like Growing Pains and Who's the Boss?. I wanted to dress the actors behind the scenes, but had no idea what that was called. So when it came time for me to graduate high school, I decided to move to New York and go to Fashion Institute of Technology to study costume design and fashion styling. After graduating in 2000, I assisted many stylists in the industry at a time when stylists were not famous or on the map quite yet. I was living life like I was Carrie Bradshaw with my best friend Sunshine who was a photographer, soaking up everything we could about the city and meeting some of the most influential people in the industry.
After 5 years, and a national tragedy that changed everyones lives, it changed mine as well. So I decided to take a chance out west and move to LA. This is where I ventured in to the film world and found my niche. I started working as an extra on lots of really cool shows like the OC and Las Vegas, and met the costume designers on set and began to lay the foundation of my costume career and left the flighty world of fashion behind.

Once I was hired to work as a costumer on Stop Loss in Austin, I decided after many years of being far from family, I would move back to Texas where the film industry was booming! Then came the downfall of 2008, and it all came to a hault. So since there weren't as many film jobs, I decided to go into my second career as a hairstylist where I worked as a stylist at an amazing spa in Lakeway for over 10 years. Then as carpel tunnel crept in, I decided to try something new and got my real estate license right before the pandemic hit! Another national tragedy changed the world as it did mine.

So basically, that wasn't creative enough for me. Then I started helping clients with their make readies to get their house on the market. I fell into organizing closets and staging which was perfect for me and my artistic mind. Which leads me to today, as I still do hair and costume design on projects that come my way, I enjoy doing hair for friends, and I love organizing closets for anyone who needs it! This website became a place to showcase all of my strengths and a place to post things I love in my closet, as well as organizing tools I can share with my clients. Thank you for caring and I hope to inspire you in some way.
